Maintenance Mechanic Technician III

We are currently hiring a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician III Location: Hoya Vision, 7000 Sunwood Dr NW, Ramsey, MN 55303 Hourly Rate: Minimum $30 per hour + shift differential (see below) Shift Available: Sunday 6:00AM - 12:00PM, Monday to Wednesday 6:00AM - 6:00PM (10% shift differential) Sunday 12:00PM - 6:00PM, Monday to Wednesday 6:00AM - 6:00PM (15% shift differential) Sunday 6:00PM - 12:00AM, Thursday to Saturday 6:00AM - 6:00PM (20% shift differential) Monday 12:00AM - 6:00AM, Thursday to Saturday 6:00AM - 6:00PM (25% shift differential) What's in it for you? What you'll do: Monitor and evaluate production equipment to identify and resolve potential issues. Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and calibrations in line with cleanliness, quality, and time standards. Troubleshoot complex electromechanical systems to identify root causes of equipment failures. Utilize your technical knowledge to mentor and support less experienced technicians. Consistently maintain a professional and safety-focused work environment. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required; technical certificate or trade school degree is a plus. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience maintaining automated manufacturing equipment. (Experience in the optical industry is a plus but not required.) Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics, equipment manuals, and technical documentation. Working knowledge of PLC systems, pneumatics, and low/high voltage electrical systems. Proficient with basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Word). Ability to work on your feet for up to 12 hours per shift and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and reaching.
