Supervise all catering events from planning through execution, ensuring seamless delivery and client satisfaction. Oversee and participate in event operations including logistics, sanitation, food safety, and equipment/facility readiness. Responsible for complete life cycle of all team members to include hiring, training, coaching/counseling, skill development and terminations. Monitor and maintain highest standards of food and beverage quality, guest service, cost control, and consistency of service. Manage staffing levels and controllable costs ensuring they are in line with budget. Complete nightly logs and manager reports. Ensure accurate and thorough information regarding menu items and food allergen information is up to date. Schedule and monitor labor hours to optimize efficiency and control costs. Maintain high standards of food quality, portion control, and waste reduction. Conduct weekly inventory, place orders, and ensure stock levels meet operational needs. Ensure proper maintenance and scheduling for catering vans and equipment. Submit work orders for repairs and track resolution of maintenance issues. Maintain all required inspections, permits, and certifications of vehicles, equipment, and staff in compliance with local and state regulations. Collaborate with other departments (e.g., RSC Sales Events team, Restaurant) to ensure seamless event execution. Perform all other duties as assigned to support catering operations and business goals. Knowledge/Competencies: Trust Accountability Consistency Optimism Skills/Work Experience/Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of food service experience including at least 1 year at the management level. Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations Full-service catering experience required. Working knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation. Financial, accounting, and computational skills. Proficient in inventory management and basic office software. ServSafe Certification. Ability to operate a motor vehicle with trailer as needed. Must possess and ma Maintain a valid driver's license required. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
