Receptionist Job Description The Receptionist is responsible for answering phones and providing customer service, along with performing various clerical duties as assigned. The role requires maintaining the Front Desk Reception area, greeting customers, directing them to the appropriate service areas, and contacting salespersons when necessary. Additionally, the Receptionist orders supplies when authorized and ensures a cheerful and professional demeanor towards both customers and employees. Responsibilities Answer and direct incoming telephone communications. Greet customers and direct them to service areas, coffee, restrooms, or seating areas. Contact salespersons for customers. Order necessary supplies when authorized by managers. Perform other clerical duties to assist in the smooth functioning of the dealership. Maintain a cheerful and professional demeanor towards customers and other employees. Essential Skills Customer service experience Outgoing personality Ability to multitask Additional Skills & Qualifications Outlook experience The ability to work in a retail environment Experience in administrative support Proficiency in Microsoft Office Familiarity with front desk operations Filing skills Foodservice experience Work Environment The position is located in NE Salem, working within a dealership that includes Toyota, Subaru, Chevrolet, and Nissan. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 2:50 pm to 8 pm, Saturday from 7:50 am to 2 pm or 1:50 pm to 8 pm, and two mandatory Sundays a month from 10 am to 3 pm or 2 pm to 7 pm. Initial training requires five days with the Receptionist Assistant Manager from 9 am to 3 pm and three days closing with another team member. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
