UT Health-Barista Job Description As a Barista at UT Health in San Antonio, you will work in various locations on the property where food is prepared. Your role will involve assisting in the setup and serving of food from counters and steam tables, alongside maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and workstations. Responsibilities Assist in the setup and serving of food from counters and steam tables. Clean and sanitize equipment and workstations regularly. Ensure excellent customer service and handle challenging situations with patients. Adhere to food handling and preparation standards. Essential Skills Previous barista experience is required. Strong customer service skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in food preparation and food handling. Work Environment The hospital is brand new, providing a clean and organized cafe area. As the full hospital is not open yet, the pace will be slower initially. Work hours are from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, Texas. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
