Responsibilities:

• Make beds in patient discharge and on-call rooms according to cleaning protocols.
• Clean patient rooms, public areas, restrooms, procedure rooms, offices, and equipment per established procedures.
• Inspect assigned areas for cleanliness and maintenance issues; report concerns to the supervisor.
• Restock paper towels, toilet paper, and soap to ensure adequate supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of assigned cleaning equipment; report issues as needed.
• Remove trash from all designated areas promptly and safely.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines.
• Move and arrange furniture, equipment, and boxes as directed.
• Wash walls and spot-clean carpets as assigned.
• Communicate suggestions for improvements or concerns to the supervisor.

Shift: This position will work rotating days and shifts; 5am-1:30pm, 7am-3:30pm, 9am-5:30pm, 11a-7:30pm, 3p-11:30p, and 8:30p-5am. Candidate must be able to work weekends and holidays. May be pulled to other shifts/days based on hospital needs.
