Summary of Position

As a Minibar Attendant at The Maybourne Beverly Hills, you will play an essential role in enhancing our guests' stay by meticulously managing and restocking the minibars in our luxurious guest rooms. Your responsibilities will focus on providing a seamless and personalized guest experience.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Maintain the inventory of minibar items, ensuring that it is adequately stocked and well-presented in guest rooms.
  2. Provide personalized and professional service to guests, assisting with their minibar selections, inquiries, and requests.
  3. Regularly check and restock minibars, ensuring that all items are fresh, organized, and in alignment with hotel standards.
  4. Monitor the freshness and condition of minibar items, removing expired or damaged products promptly.
  5. Accurately record and charge guests for minibar consumption, following established billing procedures.
  6. Address guest inquiries and concerns regarding minibar charges or selections with the utmost professionalism and courtesy.
  7. Maintain accurate records of minibar inventory levels and assist in the ordering and receiving of minibar supplies.
  8. Implement strategies to minimize waste and maximize efficiency in minibar operations.
  9. Ensure cleanliness/maintenance of the mini bar and the mini bar carts

Qualifications

  1. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  2. Prior experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel setting.
  3. Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills.
  4. Strong communication and customer service abilities.
  5. Proficiency in using technology for minibar tracking and billing.
  6. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Physical Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk for extended periods of time, twist at the neck and trunk, bend at the waist and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, reach overhead, above shoulders and horizontally. Employees will use hands to handle objects and tools, and operate service equipment. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40-pound objects. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Employees may use vision to monitor food quality and quantity and may also order supplies, etc. Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and carry heavy trays and equipment, as well as delicate china and barware
  • Ability to endure abundant physical movements throughout the work areas.
  • Job requires indoor and outdoor service in fluctuating weather
