**ABOUT THE POSITION**
As a Room Attendant, you'll play a vital role in creating an exceptional experience for our guests by ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, inviting, and serene environment.
In addition to supporting lodging operations at Sierra Grande, the Room Attendant will also clean and maintain guest lodging accommodations at Ladder and Armendaris Reserves located in southern New Mexico as needed.
You will also be responsible for:
- Creating a welcoming atmosphere by ensuring our rooms are spotless, comfortable, and fully stocked for each guest's arrival.
- Cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, suites, and public areas with meticulous attention to detail.
- Replenishing linens, towels, and amenities while ensuring everything is in perfect order.
- Responding to individual guests needs.
- Serving as a guest liaison as required.
- Ensuring guest service is at the highest possible level.
- Handling the cleaning and folding rooms linen.
- Coordinating the timely return of all guests lost and found items to the front desk.
- Coordinating with Front Office regarding guest room status.
- Maintaining knowledge of arrivals / departures and stay-overs for each day.
- Staying up to date on most efficient eco-friendly cleaning supplies.
- Maintaining knowledge of handling hazardous materials.
- Reporting maintenance issues.
- Informing Management of any guest issues.
- Maintaining a safe environment for both staff and guests.
- Coordinating annual deep cleaning of guest facilities.
- All other duties as assigned.
**YOUR QUALIFICATIONS**
Essential:
1. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
2. This position requires operation of vehicles, and youll need to possess a valid drivers license or be able to obtain one within 30 days of employment. Your driving record will need to meet the standards and requirements of the Company and the Companys insurance provider.
3. Youll need to present documentation establishing both identity and employment authorization within three days of hire pursuant to federal law.
Preferred:
1. Prior housekeeping or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required. Were happy to train the right person!
2. High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
3. Experience working in a luxury hospitality setting.
