18.0418.04 Job SummaryIt is the intent of the basic job requirements, duties, and responsibilities that any building windows be kept cleaned at all times. These minimum requirements should be referred to as a guide, rather than a limitation to, the services required to maintain the cleaning standards by Customers requirement. Staff will be required to perform the necessary work to maintain the optimum level of cleanliness in every building or worksite serviced by Flagship. Job Description Essential FunctionsOther duties may be assigned, however, the core duties of this position are as follows:Replenishes needed suppliesSpot clean walls, light switches, refrigerators (as needed)Entry Areas: checks sand urns/ash trash and dispose debrisPatio Areas: maintains appearance and check ash trays for debrisConference Rooms: checks conference room and maintains appropriate appearanceCafeteria: wipes tables, chairs, surfaces as neededStocks supplies as needed. Removes trash or dirty dishesMailroom: straightens out items on counters (punch holes, staplers, baskets, etc.)Restrooms: stocks all supplies, picks up larger paper debris, wipes down counters, and maintains good appearanceAssists customers with requests: special requests by customers i.e. help with events, meetings, set ups, etc.Must maintain a neat appearanceA uniform is required at some worksitesMust attend periodic training and safety meetingsDeliver batteries and supplies to employees as directed by SupervisorFill in as needed for staff shortages in trash, restrooms and detail work.Knowledge and SkillsKnowledge of basic janitorial duties and responsibilities very helpfulMust be able to understand and anticipate the needs of the clientsMust have good listening and verbal communication skillsSome positions require the ability to speak/understand EnglishMust maintain a neat appearanceA uniform is required at some worksitesMust attend periodic training and safety meetingsEducation and Work ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred1-2 years of experience in commercial facilities and building janitorial work desiredWork EnvironmentSmall-to-large office environment.Safety glasses required while performing certain tasks.Fast paced work environment.Safety class performed by Flagship.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.Exposed to a combination of normal office type environments and shop environmentsRegularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, cleaning products and noiseMust be punctual.Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
