Assisting the front office including Front Desk and Bell Desk to ensure all guests are helped in a timely manner is also an integral part of the Concierge responsibilities.
WORK REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Knowledge of software systems to troubleshoot. Preferred Microsoft Opera Systems
- Be able to assist the front desk, including check-in, check-out, and covering front desk jobs, as well as assisting with luggage storage and bellman functions.
- Be knowledgeable of bell desk procedures to assist when needed
- Arrange for amenities to be sent to guest rooms
- Must work with all aspects of the front office, including creating reports, management requests, creating signage, and any other requests that may be requested by the front office or our guests
- Stay updated with future guests by conducting 72-hour courtesy calls prior to arrival and after departure
- Must be fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Opera system
- Able to fulfill guest requests in a timely manner and multitask, dealing with several requests at a time
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
- Must be knowledgeable and have the ability to perform all essential clerk and supportive functions
- Ability to walk/stand for extended periods. Perform lobby ambassador duties
- Ensuring procedures are followed when dealing with all safety and security issues at the front office.
- Carry guest luggage to and from the storage closet. Must have the ability to lift items up to 50 lbs.
- Manage and maintain the "Activities on the Green."
- Make sure that the area stays clean and orderly.
- Assist guests with checking in and out the game equipment.
- Plan tournaments to go in tandem with the DJ and Dine n' Dive.
- Liaison between The Anaheim Hotel and the DJ for special events and the Dine n' Dive series.
- Manage Cabana Rentals
- Book and Collect Payment for Cabana
- Communicate Food & Beverage Packages with the Pizza Press
- Periodically check in with guests while using the Cabana and communicate needs.
- Manage Top Golf Simulator Bookings
- Book and Collect Payment for Top Golf Simulator
- Communicate Food & Beverage Packages with the Pizza Press.
- Periodically check in with guests while using the Simulator and communicate needs
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Front Office experience preferred
- Hotel experience for at-least one year
- Bellman experience
