Reporting To: Manager of Housekeeping, Membership Community

Position Overview:

Our Membership Community, Powder Haven is seeking an experienced and professional home cleaner. Driving a company vehicle is required, as well as being polite, polished, and using the highest level of discretion when interacting with our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing toilets, counter tops, showers, sinks, furniture, baseboards, walls, appliances, removal of trash and debris, making beds, etc.
  • Responsible for organizing areas and having a detailed eye for cleanliness, all while maintaining a quick and efficient work ethic.
  • Follow detailed instructions and expectations to deliver the highest level of cleanliness consistent to a Luxury resort.
  • Contributing to a safe and healthy work environment and following the direction of the Housekeeping Lead and/or Manager.
  • Maintain a positive attitude within an ever-changing work atmosphere and flexible daily schedule.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in workable order to ensure a high level of efficiency is met.
  • Assist Housekeeping Lead/Manager with low inventory counts/restocking to maintain supply quantities.
  • Notify Team leaders when equipment or supplies are in need of replenishing.
  • Ability to work with little to no supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
  • Collaboration with the maintenance team.
  • Report and return any guest/owner properties found in the rooms while rendering services.
  • Adhere to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of company related practices
  • Act in a manner that demonstrates a high standard of values consistent with the Powder Stays leadership team.
  • Clean, disinfect and store all equipment at the end of the shift in the appropriate and designated areas.
  • Perform detailed deep cleans of homes when required.
  • Assist with restocking of amenities and toiletries in each home.
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays and a flexible schedule as required by business needs.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to assist guests and team members.
  • Maintain effective relationships with team members.
  • Be self-motivated.

Requirements and/or Qualifications:

  • Experience with a variety of cleaning tools, and safe handling of chemicals.
  • Over 18 years of age is required.
  • Current driver's license and ability to pass background check.
  • Have reliable transportation or utilize Utah Public Transportation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Able to work holidays, weekends and weekdays, and possibly evenings.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40+ lbs.
  • Ability to continually bend, kneel, and reach
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8+ hours)
  • Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills (knives, slicers, mixers, pots, pans, other sharp objects, electrical shocks, etc: AGE DEPENDENT)

Working Environment:

Generally, in an indoor setting with occasional exposure to outdoor environments. While performing duties of this job, the team member will be frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and extreme heat. This position is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the environment is usually moderate to loud.
