Job Description
As a Housekeeper, you play a vital role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests. You'll clean and inspect guest rooms, halls, and common areas in hotels, ensuring every space meets our high standards of quality and hospitality.
As a Housekeeper, you will:
- Consistently deliver high-quality, timely cleaning for all assigned rooms, keeping our standards top-notch.
- Strip units and remove all trash efficiently to prepare for thorough cleaning.
- Clean all areas, including bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, closets, and decks with attention to detail.
- Deep clean bathrooms-bathtubs, toilets, sinks, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floors-using proper tools.
- Strip and make beds, change linens, and carefully handle all soiled laundry.
- Report any damage or stains on carpets, drapes, furniture, and linens promptly.
- Maintain a unit inspection score of 80% or higher, meeting resort expectations.
- Use equipment and supplies correctly, following all safety and operational procedures.
- Immediately report any Lost & Found items according to resort guidelines.
- Work collaboratively in a team and assist with additional duties as needed.
- Ensure each unit is fully stocked with all necessary inventory and houseware supplies.
- Wash walls, ceilings, and woodwork to keep units fresh and clean inside and out.
- Empty wastebaskets and clean ashtrays regularly.
- Help train new team members to maintain consistent quality and efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and resort operations.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
- Ability to manage time and complete tasks efficiently
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment
- Good physical stamina; able to lift, bend, and stand for long periods
- Follows safety and sanitation guidelines
- Friendly, professional, and respectful with guests and team members
- Understands and respects guest privacy and property
- Must be able to regularly lift, pull, push and or/move up to 35 pounds.
- Able to communicate basic information clearly
