Job Description

As a Housekeeper, you play a vital role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests. You'll clean and inspect guest rooms, halls, and common areas in hotels, ensuring every space meets our high standards of quality and hospitality.

As a Housekeeper, you will:

• Consistently deliver high-quality, timely cleaning for all assigned rooms, keeping our standards top-notch.
• Strip units and remove all trash efficiently to prepare for thorough cleaning.
• Clean all areas, including bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, closets, and decks with attention to detail.
• Deep clean bathrooms-bathtubs, toilets, sinks, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floors-using proper tools.
• Strip and make beds, change linens, and carefully handle all soiled laundry.
• Report any damage or stains on carpets, drapes, furniture, and linens promptly.
• Maintain a unit inspection score of 80% or higher, meeting resort expectations.
• Use equipment and supplies correctly, following all safety and operational procedures.
• Immediately report any Lost & Found items according to resort guidelines.
• Work collaboratively in a team and assist with additional duties as needed.
• Ensure each unit is fully stocked with all necessary inventory and houseware supplies.
• Wash walls, ceilings, and woodwork to keep units fresh and clean inside and out.
• Empty wastebaskets and clean ashtrays regularly.
• Help train new team members to maintain consistent quality and efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and resort operations.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
• Ability to manage time and complete tasks efficiently
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment
• Good physical stamina; able to lift, bend, and stand for long periods
• Follows safety and sanitation guidelines
• Friendly, professional, and respectful with guests and team members
• Understands and respects guest privacy and property
• Must be able to regularly lift, pull, push and or/move up to 35 pounds.
• Able to communicate basic information clearly
