Title: Receptionist
Status: Non-Exempt, Full-Time
Work Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, availability to work 6:45 AM - 2:15 PM and 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM shifts required
Work Hours: 35-37.5 Hours/Week
Pay: $19.00-20.00/hour based on experience

We are looking for a hospitality-focused Receptionist to join our award-winning community! This position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of Sedgebrook's front desk service areas in both the Independent Living and Health Center buildings on our campus.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of the Receptionist:
- Greet, welcome and direct residents, visitors, staff in a friendly and professional manner, while handle questions or concerns efficiently.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, faxes, and all other correspondence. Direct to appropriate appropriate resident, staff member, or department.
- Monitor reception area traffic; directing, deliveries, packages, etc.
- Maintain accurate information, pertaining to residents being off campus, via the away book, away latch log and shift pass along.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Minimum of one (1) year receptionist experience required.
- Proficient in office software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills and exceptional organizational skills.
- Must be able to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Ability to operate postage and copy machinery.
- Must be able to speak conversational English to communicate with residents, visitors, family members, supervisor and co-workers.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree a plus.
- Previous experience in a senior living environment or medical facility preferred.
