Responsibilities Warmly welcome and greet guests as they arrive, creating a positive and inviting atmosphere. Manage reservations, waiting lists, and seating assignments efficiently to optimize the flow of guests during busy periods. Communicate effectively with the server, kitchen, and bar teams to ensure timely and coordinated service. Provide accurate information about menu offerings, specials, and any relevant restaurant details to guests. Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the host stand and waiting areas, to enhance the overall guest experience.. Qualifications Experience in high volume, upscale causal dining or an equivalent service environment preferred. Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends, and some holidays. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours). Lift and carry up to 20 lbs (e.g., menus, high chairs, booster seats). Reach, bend, and stoop occasionally. Use hands and arms to operate reservation systems and phones. Clear verbal communication skills and ability to interact with guests in a busy environment. Ability to remain calm and composed while multitasking in a fast-pace setting.
