Job Overview
The Senior Environmental Services Technician functions as a team leader, providing coverage in the absence of the Manager by orienting, training, coordinating and monitoring daily activites of the EVS personnel to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive conditions within the facility. Cleaning services include: sweeping, damp mopping and waxing floors; vacuuming rugs, carpets, upholstery and draperies; dust furniture, wash walls, equipment and high touch areas according to departmental policies.
Responsibilities
- Assists manager to coordinate daily work schedules and assignments in accordance with policy.
- Maintains all logs and checklists and ensures accuracy.
- Assists with orientation and training of new department employees.
- In circumstances in which staffing issues arise, works alongside the team to maintain a clean environment.
- Follows standard precautions and other infection control guidelines to maintain a safe, sanitary and clean environment.

Qualifications
Required
5 Years Environmental Services experienceMust be knowledgeable of all aspects of housekeeping procedures, including infection control, cleaning techniques and proper use of chemicals PreferredHigh School Diploma/GED PreferredInternational Executive Housekeepers Association (IEHA)
The pay range for this position is $23.23-$32.79/hourly. Compensation is determined based on relevant experience and department equity.
