The Beverly Wilshire a Four Seasons Hotel is looking for a Laundry Manager who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. This position has the opportunity to shape guest experience by providing exceptional service in support of our world-renowned hotels. Laundry Manager reports to the Director of Housekeeping and Laundry. Work authorization for the location is required.

Responsibilities:

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Manages the staff of the Laundry/Valet Department. Interviews, trains and schedules the staff. Conducts Performance Evaluations and disciplines staff when needed. Ensures communications and follow-up on any problems, guest requests or special requirements.
  • Develops daily productions schedules, assesses priorities for each type of linen that needs to be laundered. Assigns staff to complete the needed activities for the day. Monitors staff's activities to assure that standards are being met, staff is being supported and guest needs are being met.
  • Resolves customer complaints, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible. Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner. Interaction with guest will be in person and by phone.
  • Assures the financial goals of the department are being met. Monitors and controls labor expense and other divisional expenses such as supply and maintenance costs. Coordinates periodic Linen, Uniform and Supplies Inventories. Recommends appropriate actions passed on results of inventory. Assures that equipment is properly maintained. work at end of shift to ensure all transactions are reconciled with proper approvals and endorsements.
  • Takes action in all matters related to the safety, security, satisfaction and well being of hotel guests and employees Responds swiftly and effectively in any hotel emergency or safety situation.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Education: College degree preferably in Hospitality
  • Experience: 3-5 years in luxury hotel, supervisory experience. Experience with computers.
  • Computer literate:
  • MS Office, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS
  • Outlook, MS Teams
  • Superior guest service and salesmanship skills
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Detail oriented focus

Salary: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00
