Bartender - Los Angeles

We're a busy craft cocktail bar/restaurant in Highland Park seeking a highly-skilled, friendly, and outgoing Bartender to join our staff! As a Bartender, you'll be responsible for welcoming customers, making food and drink recommendations, and preparing a variety of drinks for the bar's patrons. In addition to these practical skills, a Bartender needs to have a strong knowledge of mixed drinks, beer, and wine to best serve our customers. A strong understanding of hospitality and service Superb knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, and wine An engaging personality and appropriate appearance Open availability Excellent customer service skills Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills in a high volume operation Basic math skills Ability to be on your feet and lift 25+ pounds Greet bar patrons as they enter the establishmentMake food and beverage recommendations based on customer preferences, informing customers of any specialsTake food and beverage ordersCheck identification to ensure customers are legally able to purchase alcoholPrepare and serve drink orders to customers in a timely mannerKeep track of inventory to ensure both bar and tables are appropriately stockedAdhere to food and safety regulations at all timesSet up and monitor customer tabs
