Job Posting: Cashier/server with some Cooking Experience (Junior Cook Role)

We are seeking a dedicated, experienced, and agile Cashier/Server with cooking experience to join our vibrant Caribbean restaurant in Brooklyn. This is a hybrid role combining front-of-house service with back-of-house responsibilities as a Junior Cook.

Key Responsibilities:
Serve guests professionally, ensuring excellent customer experience
Assist in food prep and cooking off peak hours
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining area
Perform inventory checks and restock as needed
Lift and carry items up to 40 pounds
Follow all health and safety standards

Requirements:
Prior experience as both a server and cook
Knowledge of or passion for Caribbean cuisine
Must be clean, agile, and detail-oriented
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to work flexible shifts including weekends and evenings
A NYC food handlers certificate is a plus
