Are you an energetic and personable bartender who thrives in a lively environment? Burgers & Brews Glendale, a full-service restaurant known for our handcrafted burgers and extensive beer selection, is looking for a skilled and customer-focused bartender to join our team!
Responsibilities:
*Create and serve a variety of beverages, including craft cocktails, beer, and wine, in accordance with recipes and customer preferences.
*Provide excellent customer service, engaging with guests to ensure a memorable experience.
*Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glassware.
*Accurately process customer orders and payments using a point-of-sale system.
*Check identification to verify customers meet legal drinking age requirements.
*Monitor and manage alcohol consumption to ensure guest safety and compliance with local laws.
*Assist with opening and closing duties, including inventory management and cleaning tasks.
*Collaborate with the front-of-house team to provide seamless service.
Qualifications:
*Previous bartending experience in a full-service restaurant or bar preferred.
*Knowledge of mixology, craft beer, and wine.
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
*Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
*Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid food handlers card and alcohol certification (or willingness to obtain).
*Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
*Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented attitude.
