Full time Dishwasher ($21 + Tips)

At the heart of Capitol Hill, we are currently seeking a professional dishwasher to join the a/stir team at our bustling restaurant/bar and entertainment venue.

The primary responsibility assigned to this position is to scrape, wash, and sort dishes and other food containers and return them to their proper place of storage. Other responsibilities include cutting potatoes using a slicer/hand crank as well as cutting Brussels sprouts,

This is a full time position for immediate hire, open to overtime if the person is willing.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare dishwashing machines for use
Prepare all dirty dishes, silverware, glasses and other food containers for processing through the dishwashing machine
Organize, stack and return all clean dishes to proper areas
Polish all silver on a regular or as needed basis
Clean dish machines, steam pots and griddles, etc.
Clean floors and walk-ins and other kitchen areas as requested by the Chef
Communicate on a regular basis with all kitchen and food service staff
Report to appropriate supervisor any needs, concerns or suggestions
Cut potatoes, Brussels sprouts as needed
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Fluency in English
Washington State Food Handler's Permit
Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset
PAY INFORMATION

Pay: $21/hour plus share of tips from food sales (averages $2-3.50/hour in addition to base pay)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Carry 50 lbs without assistance from cart to shelf, up and down stairs
Any other physical ability required for tasks described above.
