We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility, including offices, restrooms, and production areas. This role is crucial to ensuring a safe and clean environment for all employees and supporting production efficiency through regular disinfection of equipment. Essential Job Functions General Cleaning Responsibilities Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces in office, breakroom, restroom, and common areas. Clean and disinfect restroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, partitions, and floors Empty trash receptacles and replace liners in all designated areas. Refill restroom and cleaning supplies, such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper. Wipe down and disinfect high-touch surfaces including door handles, light switches, desks, and phones. Production Area Cleaning & Equipment Disinfection: Clean and disinfect floors and surfaces in production areas according to sanitation protocols. Assist the Maintenance and Production Departments in the regular disinfection of machinery and equipment. Sanitize extrusion equipment, bag machines, winders, Dr. Machines, and separator units as required. Use appropriate cleaning agents and tools while adhering to safety and manufacturer guidelines. Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained. Compliance & Safety: Always follow company safety policies and procedures. Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) during cleaning and disinfecting tasks. Report any unsafe conditions, maintenance needs, or damage to equipment or property. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is a plus. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Physically able to stand, bend, kneel, lift, and move up to 25 lbs.
