Office Assistant/Receptionist needed in a busy housing office in Elmira, NY.
MUST be able to:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide information to callers
- Schedule appointments and maintain work orders for maintenance
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, etc..
- Maintain office supplies and ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, vendors, and employees
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
- Assist with basic computer tasks such as data entry and document formatting (WORD, EXCEL, Adobe, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Temp to possible perm ~ Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm
$ 18.00 - 19.00 depending on work experience
