As an Event Concierge at our resort, you will serve as the critical link between event planners and resort departments, ensuring flawless execution and memorable experiences. This highly visible role demands a polished presence, strong communication, and excellent organizational skills. You will act as a resort ambassador, providing on-the-ground support and proactively anticipating the needs of both internal teams and event clients. Your attention to detail and solution-oriented mindset will help create exceptional moments that leave a lasting impression on our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
- Resort Ambassador: Represent the Destination by Hyatt brand with professionalism, creating a positive and welcoming impression for meeting planners and guests.
- Department Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for on-site meeting planners, ensuring seamless communication with all resort departments.
- Event Floor Support: Monitor meeting and event spaces, compare setups to event orders, and confirm all arrangements meet client expectations before arrival.
- Problem Solver: Proactively address concerns and unexpected needs, finding creative and efficient solutions to ensure event success.
- Operational Support: Collaborate with the Events Department to ensure the smooth flow of operations and provide timely updates during events.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience or internships in banquets/events required
- Prior hotel or resort experience preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Proven ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Basic understanding of food and beverage operations
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
