About the Position
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure that guests at Seasons Restaurant have a positive dining experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests promptly upon arrival; seat guests.
Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings. Makes appropriate meal suggestions, and answers questions regarding food preparation.
Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen staff efficiently; communicates specific customer needs to the Head Chef, Sous Chef, or Line Cooks.
Serve food and drinks in a timely manner while ensuring presentation standards are met.
Presents bill to guests at the end of the meal and processes payment using the Point-of-Sale system.
Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout the shift.
Assist with bussing tables to ensure a smooth flow of service.
Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow servers to ensure seamless service.
Qualifications
Strong hospitality skills with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
Experience in food service or fine dining environments is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of culinary terms and food preparation processes is helpful.
Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
