Childrens' Dental Center of New Hampshire is looking for a Full - Time Orthodontic Assistant in Amherst, New Hampshire to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.

As a Dental Assistant you are an integral part of care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Responsibilities

Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.

Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.

Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations..

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)

Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.

Qualifications

High School Diploma

Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
