Full Time Custodian Position

CRCS has an anticipated opening for a full time custodian.

The Community Regional Charter School is hiring for a full time custodian in Cornville. This person would be responsible for custodial work such as, taking out trash, sweeping, as well as serving prepared meals and doing kitchen cleaning and dishes.

This employee would also be responsible for driving the school van to Skowhegan daily to pick up lunch meals.

Wages:

Negotiable

Deadline:
Candidates will be interviewed on a rolling basis until a suitable candidate is found.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma (equivalent) or higher and Maine Dept. of Ed. Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) Approval is required.
Previous experience is preferred

A successful candidate will have the ability to:

• Remain on their feet for large portions of their shift
• Occasionally lift heavy objects
• Complete repetitive tasks, to include twisting, and bending
• Be able to prioritize among different tasks and adapt to interruptions to workflow
• Work independently for large portions of their shift
