Full Time Kitchen Dishwasher Associate

Alaskan and Proud Markets is a locally owned and operated Grocery Store headquartered in Ketchikan, Alaska. We are looking for an energetic and innovative person to join our Ketchikan team. This position is for a full time Kitchen Associate. There is a great opportunity for advancement within the Alaskan and Proud Operations.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

- Excellent customer service skills

- Basic understanding of commercial kitchen operations

- Strong work ethic and dependable

- Strong verbal and communication skills

- Ability to lift 40-50 lbs. regularly

- Ability to stand/walk for a full 8-hr work period

- Basic full body motions: bending, twisting, squatting, lifting, reaching

- Flexibility with work schedule (including weekends and holidays)

- Ability to arrive to work on time ready to start work

- Must be over 18+

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Dishwashing and cleaning

- Slicing meats and cheeses

- Assisting with prep or other tasks assigned by shift supervisor or manager

- Cleaning and Maintaining work areas

- Merchandising products as directed

- Misc. job tasks as assigned by store director or supervisor

- Obtain and keep a current Food Worker Card within 30 days

- Assisting customers at service case

- Follow and comply with company policies and procedures

- Follow and complies with Health and Safety policies

- Contributing to a Positive Work Atmosphere
