Job Duties
What You'll Do:
DYS is looking for a dedicated Laundry Worker to play a vital role in ensuring a clean and sanitary environment for our youth by assisting in washing, drying, sorting, and distributing laundry in the facility.
Duties include but not limited to:
Sort soiled laundry by color
Record receipt and distribution of laundry
Operate commercial laundry equipment
Fold roughdry laundry
Operate sewing machine to repair clothing or linen
Perform housekeeping duties in assigned area (sweep floors, dust equipment, etc.)
