The City of Bothells Public Works Storm Division is looking for seasonal team players to tackle stormwater site maintenancethink mowing, weeding, cleanup, and storm drain care. Jump in and help us keep Bothell safe and beautiful!

Note: Anticipated to start mid-July 2025. This is a temporary full-time position, that have been authorized to be funded for four (4) full months from hire. This position is also non-represented and non-benefited positions.
What will you do in this position?
- Performs detention pond site maintenance: mowing and line trimming, weeding, mulching, rain garden maintenance, and garbage pickup.
- Inspects, repairs, and cleans storm drains.
- Cleans and maintains storm system drainage ditches, culverts, ponds, and streams.
- Other duties as assigned
A successful candidate in this position will:
- Be 18 years or older and have a valid drivers license at the time of appointment.
- Ensure clear and efficient communication of information and ideas through diverse communication channels.
- Develop and utilize collaborative relationships to build informal and formal teams, aiming to achieve team goals.
- Effectively evaluate and prioritize various tasks, projects, and demands.
- Openly receive new ideas and other perspectives.
- Take responsibility for accomplishing goals and achieving quality results.
