This is a non-exempt position. Part-time employees cannot work more than 1000 hours per calendar year.

The starting salary will be determined with consideration given to both the candidate's educational background and relevant work experience.

Must pass job functions test.

Must possess a valid drivers license and have an acceptable driving record per County policy.

The essential functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the class as necessary.

• Cleans offices, empty trash receptacles, clean and sanitize restrooms, unclog toilets and sink drains and fill dispensers.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors which includes sweep, mop, vacuum, buff, strips, and wax as needed.
• Performs general cleaning such as removing dust from ceiling vents, clean floor molding, and clean windows.
• Keeps air return vents clean.
• Cleans areas when accidents occur due to sickness or vandalism.
• Moves furniture, office equipment, and supplies, either manually or with a hand truck.
• Cleans, sets up, and take down tables and chairs for meeting spaces.
• Monitors cleaning supplies and submits order requests to supervisor as scheduled.
• Ensures all cleaning chemicals have corresponding SDS sheets filed in the SDS book or notifies supervisor of the need for one.
• Reports items or issues requiring maintenance repair.
• Performs related work as assigned.

• Completion of sufficient education to ensure the ability to read and write, and some experience in building cleaning work.
• Must pass job functions test.
