The Opportunity

We're looking for a proactive and experienced General Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and order of our bustling campus during the afternoon and evening hours. This isn't just about cleaning; it's about contributing to a positive and healthy environment for our entire school community. You'll be on the move, interacting with staff, and ensuring our facilities are always in top shape.

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive cleaning duties, including mopping, sweeping, and dusting all designated areas.
Pull trash and recyclables from all receptacles throughout the campus.
Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms and ensure they are well-stocked.
Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of common areas , hallways, classrooms, and offices.
Respond promptly to immediate cleaning needs or spills.
Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
Adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of cleaning chemicals.

What We're Looking For

Customer Service Skills: You'll interact with staff and students, so a friendly, helpful, and professional demeanor is essential.
Ability to Multi-Task: You can efficiently manage various cleaning duties across different areas of the campus.
Physical Stamina: This role involves lots of walking across a large campus. You must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly, and perform tasks like bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
Attention to Detail: You take pride in your work and ensure all areas are cleaned to a high standard.
Reliability: Punctual and committed to your Monday-Friday, 1:00 PM - 11:00 PM schedule.
Experience: Previous cleaning experience in a commercial or institutional setting is preferred.
Background Check: Successful completion of a comprehensive background check is required.
