Position Overview:

The Receptionist is the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and temporary staff at our Georgia Plant. This role is responsible for maintaining security procedures at the front entrance, facilitating guest and temp check-ins, supporting internal communication, and ensuring an organized, welcoming front office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gate Access & Visitor Management
    • Monitor the security gates and screen all individuals seeking entry.
    • Confirm visitor identity, purpose of visit, and grant access based on discretion.
    • Greet all visitors with professionalism and a positive attitude.
    • Instruct guests to sign in using the iPad and notify employees via Teams.
    • Follow up if the hosting employee does not respond in a timely manner.
  • Temporary Employee Check-In
    • Ensure all temporary staff sign in daily with accurate time tracking.
    • Collect IDs and issue temporary access badges.
    • At end of shift, retrieve key cards, return IDs, and properly log materials into designated binder.
  • Mail & Office Support
    • Sort and distribute non-marketing mail to the appropriate departments.
    • Notify recipients or deliver mail if they are nearby.
    • Maintain a tidy, visitor-ready front desk at all times.
    • Support departments (QA, HR, Production, Safety, Samples) as needed—e.g., posting weekend work updates, laminating documents, creating labels—while remaining at your station.
  • Onboarding Coordination
    • Notify the appropriate team leader when a new temporary worker arrives in the lobby.

  • Friendly and approachable with excellent communication skills
  • Dependable and organized, with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Teams and iPad sign-in systems
  • Capable of handling sensitive tasks with discretion
  • Able to multitask in a front-facing role
