Cornerstone is the East Bays most exciting craft beer garden and live music venue. With over 13,000 square feet of thoughtfully designed space, two full bars, 50 beer taps, two stages, a full kitchen and a large beer garden patio with fire pits, patrons are guaranteed a unique dining and entertainment experience. Our menu was carefully crafted to provide a variety of options based on rustic comfort food.

BARTENDER

Position Summary:
Provide a dining experience that meets or exceeds the guests expectation.

Essential Job Functions:
A passion for hospitality and desire to take care of guests
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment yet can pay attention to the details
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes
Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
Maintain a clean and organized bar at all times
Validate customers identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
Handle cash transactions and operate the POS
Upsell and suggestive selling when appropriate
Create fun and creative featured cocktails

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Two years full-service bartending experience
Experience with POS systems (Toast Preferred)
Current RBS and Food Handlers card or the ability to obtain within thirty days of hiring
Proficient beer knowledge
