KC021 - Part-Time Housekeeper - Union Square, NY

A private individual in Union Square, NYC, is seeking a detail-oriented, part-time housekeeper for their 2-bedroom, 2,000 sq. ft. apartment. The ideal candidate will have experience working independently in high-end homes and will be confident caring for fine clothing and materials. The schedule will be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 2pm. This is a guaranteed 8-hour per week position.

The home is occupied by one principal, with no pets. The role requires a housekeeper who is proactive, discreet, and capable of maintaining high standards with minimal supervision.

• General housekeeping, deep cleaning of bathrooms, kitchen, floors, and large windows
• Laundering of clothing and linens; ironing and steaming, with particular attention to garments and suits
• Light shoe care, including leather conditioning (a bonus, not required)
• Maintaining discretion and respecting the privacy of the home
• Adhering to high standards of cleanliness and organization, working independently

• Minimum 5 years of verifiable housekeeping experience, ideally in high-end homes
• Experience with steaming delicate garments and caring for fine clothing is essential
• Shoe care experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Reliable, honest, and trustworthy
• Fluent English required
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

• Must be able to work the same set days and hours consistently (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10:00 AM2:00 PM)
• Comfortable working alone in the home after a brief daily check-in
• Able to manage time efficiently and uphold the household's standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Discretion and respect for privacy are essential
