JOB SUMMARY
The Busser is responsible for ensuring tables are cleared, cleaned, and reset quickly for the prompt seating and service of guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Cleans and resets tables in accordance with sanitation guidelines and company standards
* Maintains cleanliness of all side stations
* Stocks dishes, silverware, paper supplies, and other required items to remain par levels of all equipment during service
* Sweeps or mops as needed
* Communicates with host for seating needs and guest service issues
* May assist in the deliverance of items ordered by guests, including food and beverage items
* Performs other related duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Detail-oriented and thorough with strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to work under stress in a fast-paced environment * Knowledge of menu items and service as well as basic restaurant operations and culinary terminology * Knowledge of dining room sanitation standards and procedures EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * High school diploma or equivalent preferred * Customer service or food & beverage experience preferred * Must obtain valid gaming license, where applicable PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS * The employee is required to stand for the duration of the shift. * The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb, balance, push, pull, lift, reach, twist, and bend while enduring prolonged periods of standing and walking. * The employee may be required to lift up to 50 pounds or push carts weighing up to 200 pounds. * The employee may be required to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. * The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. * The work environment may vary in levels of crowds, noise, and smoke, depending on the assigned station and customer volume.
