A BAKED JOINT is a family bakery & cafe in the heart of DC established in 2015. Our focus is high quality, naturally leavened handcrafted breads as well as a variety of laminated dough pastries. We are a high-volume shop - our cafe menu is paired with our house-made breads and we also serve a curated wholesale account list around the city. We are proud to have been named Best Bakery by The Washington Post!

We are now seeking both (1) passionate, experienced, and organized Bread Baker and (1) Experienced Pastry Chef with emphasis on Laminated Doughs and Donuts to join our skilled baker team and continue the dedication to serving delicious breads to Washington, D.C.

This is a full -time position that requires early morning (4am) availability.

Qualified candidates should have:

  • Minimum of 2 years commercial bread baking experience

  • Strong understanding of naturally leavened breads and laminated doughs

  • Creativity and passion to create new bread and pastries.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($25.00 - $28.00)
