We're now seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Sommelier to join our opening team.
Position Overview:As a Sommelier , you will be responsible for building and overseeing our wine and beverage program, with a special focus on wines from Georgia and the surrounding regions. Your role will be key in shaping the guest experience, guiding wine selections, and providing education and support to both staff and guests.
Assist with bar or floor duties as needed during service
Proven experience as a sommelier in a fine dining or upscale restaurant
Strong knowledge of wine regions, especially Georgian, Eastern European, and Old World wines
Formal sommelier certification (e.g., WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers) is preferred but not required
Excellent communication and guest service skills
Ability to educate and lead wine training for the team
Must be 21+ and possess or obtain valid California Responsible Beverage Server (RBS) certification
Team-oriented, professional, and enthusiastic about hospitality and culture
Compensation: Hourly ($20.00 - $25.00)
