As a Sous Chef with Restaurant Associates, youll play a key role in delivering high-quality, chef-driven cuisine that fuels creativity and performance. In addition to supporting daily culinary operations, youll have the opportunity to interact directly with our clients, overseeing cafe service, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and upholding the highest standards of food and hospitality.

Lead all aspects of a diverse corporate dining setting for a top tech company. Create innovative cuisine to inspire. Interact with clients, coordinate cafe service, and maintain high food standards.

• Assists the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and control expenditures for the account
• Lead day-to-day culinary operations in the cafe, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation of all food offerings.
• Partner with the client to understand dining preferences, adjust menus accordingly, and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
• Supervise and train cafe kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and sanitation in compliance with health and company regulations.
• Monitor inventory, place orders, and manage food and labor costs to meet financial goals.
• Produces and completes catering events
• Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with Company marketing and culinary team

• A.S. or equivalent experience
• Some progressive culinary/kitchen management experience, depending upon formal degree or training
• Catering experience a plus
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience - highly desirable
• Institutional and batch cooking experiences helpful
• Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
• Must be experienced with computers; to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point), Outlook, E-mail and the Internet
• Must be willing to participate in client happiness programs/activities
• ServSafe certified - highly desirable
