Job Description
POSITION: Administration Building Receptionist
LOCATION: Kenowa Hills Administration Building
RATE OF PAY: 18.86/hour to 21.69/hour commensurate with experience, education, and skills
START DATE: as soon as possible
SCHEDULE: 2-3 days per week, year-round with occasional evening work
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 2 years experience in a secretarial or related field.
Service-oriented individual with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Must be self-driven & able to meet deadlines with demonstrated organization, attention to detail, work routines, and prioritization skills.
The ability to work well individually, but also as part of multiple teams.
Effective oral and written communicator with students, staff, and parents.
Ability to multitask.
The ability to work a flexible schedule and maintain excellent attendance.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receptionist- first point of contact with Kenowa Hills Community
Handle incoming phone calls and direct them as needed
Administer Golden Ages passes, work permits, and Background checks
Manage the District's internal and external mail
Program the Administration Building Marquis sign
Create purchase orders for the Maintenance and Technology departments
Maintain inventory of Ad Building supplies
Place paper & envelope orders for the district and buildings
Assist in the District Copy Center
Safety drill reporting
Assist with organization of student records in the Warehouse
SECONDARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the district United Way campaign
Dispose of surplus District personal property per Board Policy
Schedule & Book various groups for District Facilities
Support the Registrar with student enrollments and maintenance of records
Assist with planning and preparing for district events (Retirement reception, Gus Macker, Community Knight, etc)
Assist the Department of Teaching and Learning in the processing of learning materials
Performs other secretarial and clerical tasks as assigned.
