Bartender
Seeking bartenders with at least 2 years of working in a full service bar/restaurant. Must have proficiency in POS systems, a comprehensive understanding of wine and cocktails, and exceptional customer service abilities. Looking for team players with strong hospitality skills who can effectively collaborate with coworkers.
Flexible availability is a must, including lunch shifts, evenings, holidays, and weekends. Essential qualities include punctuality, reliability, keen attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Craft high-quality cocktails and serve a variety of beverages proficiently
Adhere to proper drink construction techniques and policies at all times
Ability to develop unique recipes
Have strong interpersonal communication skills in order to answer customer questions and address customer concerns in a warm, professional and accommodating manner
Compliance with all ABC laws and policies
Complete any and all assigned cleaning duties, including stocking and organization
Ensure proper set up and break down of stations before and after operating hours
Maintain focus on performance, productivity, and teamwork throughout the entire shift
Communicate effectively with leadership and team members when needing assistance
Ensure pour consistency and demonstrate excellent drink-handling skills
Take responsibility for bar top maintenance and stocking duties
Keep the work area clean and organized
Exhibit accurate knowledge of the products being served
Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in bartending
Valid CA Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification
Valid Food Handlers certification required.
Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
Must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Must be available afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
All applicants must be able to show proof of authorization to work in the US.
