Valley of the Eagles Golf Course, LP owns and operates a restaurant on their property that primarily serves golfers after they have completed a round of golf but is also open to the general public. The restaurant also provides food and beverages for private events such as weddings, high school dances, and various other parties that are held in the banquet hall on the property. The "set up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies" refers to the line cook's duty when the restaurant receives ingredient deliveries and supplies that are packaged in carboard boxes, plastic wrap, etc. the line cook will open the deliveries and set up certain ingredients or supplies in the kitchen to be used that week and other ingredients or supplies will be placed in the stockroom or refrigerator. The line cook position is responsible for, among other things, preparing the soup stock that will be used as a base for the various soup bowl dishes. Soup stock can be prepared in advance and stored or frozen to be used later. The line cook may prepare simple dishes such as appetizers, soups, and salads. The line cook will use normal kitchen implements to prepare ingredients such as knives, graters, can openers, pots, pans, woks, etc. Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies. Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces. Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sauteing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.

Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift. Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
