BlueHalo, an AV company, is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team. In this role, you will ensure our facilities are functional, safe, and clean by performing repairs, routine maintenance, and upkeep tasks. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, solid technical knowledge, manual dexterity, and physical stamina.
Responsibilities Include:
Inspect and identify equipment or systems in need of repair.
Troubleshoot issues and plan repair work using blueprints or manuals when needed.
Perform general repairs (e.g., drywall, doors, painting, basic carpentry).
Conduct routine maintenance of building systems and facilities.
Replace light bulbs and minor electrical components.
Inspect and maintain HVAC and ventilation systems.
Monitor and test safety systems (fire alarms, emergency lighting, exit signs).
Clean and maintain general facility areas, including dusting, mopping, and recycling.
Order and manage materials and supplies for maintenance work.
Collaborate with other professionals on renovations or special projects.
Report major issues to the Facilities or Maintenance Manager.
Complete other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
- Experience using hand and electrical tools
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
Hourly Pay Range: $18.50 - $21.00
