Job Summary

Under general supervision, performs a variety of skilled tasks in the grounds construction and maintenance. Provides direction to those assisting in the completion of specific grounds maintenance tasks

Requirements / Qualifications

Experience and Education:

Four years as a Groundskeeper II or equivalent experience, including familiarity with specialized grounds maintenance tools.

Graduation from high school or the equivalent supplemented by additional training in at least one journey level area

Comments and Other Information

Condition of Employment

Possession of a valid Class "C" California drivers license

Any required certifications in the journey level grounds trade skill area.
