Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
- Ensure all food items are prepared in a timely manner to meet service schedules.
- Handle various kitchen equipment (e.g., grills, fryers, ovens) safely and efficiently.
- Brunch, Lunch, and Dinner Prep:
- Prepare ingredients and components for brunch, lunch, and dinner services.
- Follow prep lists created by chefs to plan daily work.
- Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients.
- Cleaning and Organization:
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, including all kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas.
- Follow proper sanitation procedures and safety standards.
- Assist in daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning duties as scheduled.
- Inventory and Order Assistance:
- Help receive, unpack, and store supplies and food items.
- Verify the accuracy and quality of deliveries.
- Rotate stock appropriately to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Assist in training new kitchen staff as needed.
