We are seeking a dietary aide/ Server to join our team 4pm-7pm

Reports to: Dietary Manager/Food Service Director

Job Description:

We are seeking enthusiastic high school students to join our team at our nursing facility as part-time kitchen and dining room staff, working the 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM shift. In this role, you will assist in preparing and serving meals to our residents, ensuring a warm and welcoming dining experience. Responsibilities include helping with food prep, serving meals, clearing tables, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and dining area. This is a great opportunity for responsible, compassionate individuals to gain valuable work experience while making a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in food service preferred, but not required

Must have strong communication and customer service skills

Must be able to follow directions and work as part of a team

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Must be able to pass a background check and drug test

Working Conditions:

The Dietary Aide will work in a skilled nursing facility kitchen, which may be hot and noisy. The dietary aide will work with kitchen equipment and tools, including knives and food processors, which require proper safety precautions. The job may require working weekends and holidays.
