POSITION TITLE: Custodian/Courier - Day Shift

Leave Replacement anticipated for August 26, 2025 - June 26, 2026

HOURS: 5.0 hrs Custodian/day, 5 days/wk, anticipated through June 26, 2026

3.0 hrs Courier/day, 5 days/wk, anticipated through June 26, 2026

6:00 am - 2:30 pm (anticipated)

HOURLY WAGE: $28.44 - $33.00 per hour Custodian

$29.12 - $33.74 per hour Courier

Depending upon prior experience (plus vacation days, personal days, sick leave, and paid holidays)

BENEFITS: Employees anticipated to work 630 hours in a school calendar year may be eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Long-term Disability Insurance, Life Insurance, Pension, VEBA, and 403(b).

Up to 12 Sick Days, 2 Personal Days, 13 Paid Holidays, and 28 Vacation Days - prorated based upon start date, days worked, and longevity.

LOCATION: Support Services

REPORTS TO: Director of Support Services

OPENINGS CREATED FROM FILLING THIS POSITION WILL BE FILLED FROM THIS APPLICANT POOL.

SUMMARY for Custodian: Under the supervision and direction of the Director of Support Services and the building principal, the custodian will perform custodial duties ensuring a clean, safe, attractive and functioning facility without interrupting the use of the building.

SUMMARY for Courier: The Courier/Custodian/Warehouse delivery employee will be responsible for the safe, accurate and efficient receipt and distribution of in-district communications, equipment, and supplies. Custodial responsibilities are part of this position at the Warehouse site.
