Guest Service Attendant

Guest Service Attendants are an integral part of the guest experience when visiting the Osage View Individuals in this role must be high energy, sports and entertainment minded and able to provide superior customer service while providing a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

To perform this position successfully, employee must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Greet members and guests upon arrival
  • Answer phones and provide accurate information on facility hours, pricing and services available
  • Assist guests with booking tee-times, making reservations and purchasing movie tickets
  • Check in guests at reservation time and provide instruction on equipment use
  • Utilize the point-of-sale software system
  • Mix and serve alcoholic beverages (if 21 years of age or older)
  • Restock and sell merchandise in a retail setting
  • Keep the spaces and equipment clean and well maintained at all times
  • Maintain a customer service mindset at all times
  • Report all incidents and/or mechanical or janitorial issues to management
  • Ensure facility policies and procedures are followed at all times while on duty
  • Effectively communicate with off-site personnel to troubleshoot equipment and technology
  • Ensure the overall cleanliness of the facility to ensure a welcoming environment for our guests
  • Perform other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

  • Superior customer service skills
  • A proven track record of punctuality and dependability
  • A basic knowledge regarding the game of golf and the ability to explain the software to our guests
  • Strong work ethic with ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal and human relation skills
  • Ability to think and act quickly in the event of an emergency
  • Leadership skills and the ability to carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
  • Basic computer operation skills and the ability to learn new software
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with subordinates and other employees
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions, correspondence, memos, letters, procedures, financial statements
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and diplomacy when resolving problems
  • Ability to identify problems and determine the best course of action for their resolution
  • Ability to critically evaluate information for accuracy and usefulness in solving problems
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Organized or recreational participation in golf, bowling, Esports or other relevant areas
  • Prior work experience in a recreational setting
  • CPR, First Aid and AED certification
