**Job Summary**
The Front Desk Clerk greets guests, checks guests in/out of the hotel and assists guests with problems or concerns. May also work in Reservations when needed, assisting guests with reserving rooms, as well as aiding in the Breakfast department when needed. This position requires a background check, paid for by the department. A free public transportation pass is included with employment.
**Responsibilities**
**The Front Desk Clerk:**
- Works at the front desk of the hotel, checking guests in/out, and assisting them with problems or concerns.
- Takes payments in cash or credit card.
- Answers phones and takes reservations, entering into the reservation program.
- Assists with breakfasts as needed.
- Other duties as assigned

High school diploma or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) required. One year full-time customer service experience or equivalency, demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills also required.
