Position open until filled.

JOB SUMMARY Stocks bar with liquor, beer, sodas, juices, ice etc., keeps bar and storage area clean and supplied. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Keep bar and service areas supplied with glasses, ashtrays etc. • Maintain stock supplies in bar and lounge. • Assisting in keeping the lounge area clean, sanitized and presentable. • Clean bar and storage area on a regular schedule. • Wash and sanitize bar trays on a regular schedule. • Keep bar and service area supplied with ice. • Stocks refrigerator units with wines and bottled beer. • Replaces empty beer kegs with full ones. • Slices and pits fruit used to garnish drinks. • Washes glasses, bar, and equipment; and polishes bar fixtures. • Mops floors. • Removes and appropriately discards empty bottles and trash. • Sort and properly dispose of recycling. • Mixes and prepares flavors for mixed drinks. • Must wear black non-slip shoes or temporary non-slip shoe covers. • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three months related experience and/or training.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
  • While employed, you must maintain a valid and active Blue Lake Tribal Gaming Commission License.
  • Must complete TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) training for serving alcohol responsibly within three months of being employed and maintain a valid certificate while employed thereafter.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS Must be at least 21 years of age.
