As a Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing staff, ensuring quality service, and maintaining the highest standards of guest satisfaction. You will be expected to create an enjoyable atmosphere for customers and staff alike, while also ensuring that all operations are conducted in a safe manner. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and coordinate activities of all employees engaged in providing meals and/or beverages at Little Creek Casino Resort.
- Assist Food and Beverage Director with Personnel Management, Training, Interviewing, Hiring and Personnel Evaluation.
- Oversee all F&B Supervisors. Compile and distribute shift schedules weekly and as needed.
- Assist Food and Beverage Director with analyzing information concerning facility operations, such as daily food sales, patron attendance, and labor costs to prepare budget and to maintain cost control of facility operations.
- Promote positive staff support and morale by administering F&B Team Member input for growth and improvement.
- Coordinate with other departments for special event needs relating to staffing for the Food & Beverage requirements, as needed.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
- Assist Food and Beverage Director with planning and developing within the Food and Beverage Department.
- Confer with administrative personnel and review activity, operating, and sales reports to determine changes in programs or operations required in the Food and Beverage Department.
- Ensure accurate recordkeeping relating to personnel issues within the Food and Beverage Department.
- Inspect and taste prepared foods to maintain quality standards and sanitation regulations.
- Promote Little Creek Casino Resort in industry and trade associations as requested.
- Perform all front and back of the house duties within the food and beverage department as needed.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors Degree in hospitality or related.
- OR a minimum of five years consistent Food & Beverage experience PLUS a minimum of five years management experience within the Food & Beverage industry.
- OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Class III Gaming License issued from the Squaxin Island Gaming Commission
- Requires a Valid Washington State Driver License and must be insurable on the Tribes insurance
- Class 12 Alcohol Server Permit
- State of Washington Food Worker Card
