May involve cooking in public and interacting with clients. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare menu items from posted production lists
- Cook and present menu items to specification
- Adhere to food and work safety procedures and keep organized work area
- Lead small groups to execute event foods
- Work club concession stands and action stations as needed
- Some roles may require strict confidentiality
- Special projects and assignments as business dictates
- This position may oversee small groups of cooks in preparation projects and event execution
- Minimum 3 years of upscale food preparation in high volume catering operation or restaurant
- Culinary degree or certification preferred
- Demonstrate ability in all cooking methods: Grilling to temperature, sauteing, roasting, braising, deep frying, poaching
- Excellent attendance
- Devoted learner
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
